On the inside, I am that secluded beach, thriving around the corner of the cliff; a mysterious mix of sand, water, and wind, hidden from the prying eyes of tourists.
The constant flow of the tide and time ebbs against me; beating, taking, giving my reluctant form fears, hopes, and dreams, constantly changing the way I picture myself and others.
Words, like shells, gather upon my shore and are buried below, never to surface until the time is right, when a little child with a plastic shovel comes to dig at these long lost secrets, once again bringing them to light within my mind.
